Abstract Multi-morphology cellular structures have recently gained increased attention in many areas owing to their capability adjust geometric and mechanical properties spatially. These hence deform differently from conventional uniform structures. However, the relationship between manner of deformation has not been extensively investigated. In this study, multi-morphology was characterized, a prediction method proposed. More closely, effects structures’ design variables on were measured, effect neighbouring unit cells at given local area evaluated.
